Angry of feeling hungry? This food will fill you up!

Eating healthy can be challenging when you are really hungry but, luckily enough, there are a plethora of foods that can fill the gap without containing an obscene amount of calories.
Eggs

Most of the good stuff can be found in the yolk. However, eggs as a whole are protein-rich and contain all nine of the essential amino acids your body needs. In addition, one study found that eating eggs for breakfast - rather than a bagel - increased fullness and led to less calorie intake over the next 36 hours.
Fish

We have all heard that fish is great for brain power. Well, it is also good for staying full for longer. Fish has a high quantity of omega-3, which is why it leaves you satisfied for longer. Studies have also found that fish may keep you fuller than other proteins, so it is a win-win.
Quinoa

This source of protein and fibre has become increasingly popular in everyday diets. It is a versatile food stuff that can accompany an array of meals. It is a food that is recognised to be higher in fibre than most other grains, leaving you full. It contains lots of amino acids too, hence it being recognised as a protein!
Greek yoghurt

As an excellent breakfast idea that can be paired with fruits and berries, Greek yoghurt is also a perfect snack that fills you up until your next meal. In a study, those who ate Greek yogurt felt full the longest and were less hungry.
Popcorn

Next time you reach for the crisps or chocolate with your meal deal, consider swapping to popcorn. Containing high fibre and low energy density, popcorn could well keep you fuller for longer. It is also very light, making you feel like you are eating more.
