It will have you jumping for joy!

With up to two million people in the UK at risk from type 2 diabetes, it is time to make a change…
It is home time and the last thing on my mind is going to the gym. Waiting 10 minutes for a cardio machine is not on my agenda.
But, my gym chain has a new class on. It is called Boogie Bounce and involves mini trampolines. It has even inspired my exercise-phobe aunt to attend a class twice a week.
Naturally, I felt rather silly at first. I am in my 20s and standing on a piece of equipment I had as a child. I also had to buy a pair of non-slip socks which cost me a few quid!
However, as the music starts and the instructor walks in, I forget how much of an idiot I must look like. I begin to enjoy the routines.
It is not just bouncing; it is dancing, squatting and knee raises. It is hard work but incredibly rewarding. A 60-minute class leaves you dripping with sweat, with the founders claiming that the session can burn up to 600-calories.
Find a class near you and let us know if you enjoy it!
